Our Vision Statement

BLCL will become an organisation which contributes significantly to widening participation in lifelong learning.

We aim to increase the levels of community participation and involvement at the schools and centres in the Rotherham PFI project.

Our key aims and objectives are to:

o Promote community ownership through involving local communities in the development process

o Promote best use of existing facilities at least cost by developing pricing structures which reflect local activity and encourage  participation

o Support access to external funds and grants to aid continuous development and improvement

o Develop a diverse range of users to promote maximum participation across the different communities and cultures within Rotherham

o Contribute to sustainable community development

o Reinvest surplus profit from commercial activities into the schools project and the development of wider community use
